Scherry Donato
Scherry Donato is a resident of Fort Lauderdale and has been an artist since 1978. She has worked in various media over the years, including stained glass, pottery and jewelry design. She now focuses on kiln-formed fused glass and creates practical and decorative works of art. Using the translucent colors and textures of glass, Scherry creates geometric, freeform and landscape designs. The thrill of seeing a completed design after it has been fired in the kiln inspires her to experiment more with the limitless opportunities of kiln-formed glass. Scherry’s sushi sets, candle holders, and wind chimes are perfect for gift-giving occasions.
